Last week was … interesting. I was going through a bit of stuff and decided to drown my sorrows in free tequila shots. That’s where The Harvest comes in.

The Harvest is a new-ish resturant located in Lekki Phase 1. When I got there, the first thing that hit me was how much it reminded me of those hippy restaurants in Brooklyn. It automatically made me miss NYC for a bit.

They have three main areas – an outdoor space, poolside space and the main space inside. Coco and I started off in the main area inside but it was a bit too cold so we went to sit outside under the pretty lights.

Eat Drink Lagos did a review and spoke very highly of the pizza (especially the cheese) and burger. We (Coco and I) only had the budget for one so we decided to get the ‘Wakanda pizza’. We both really liked the pizza – it had a lot of cheese (which is never a bad thing) but Coco got tired of the cheese after a while and left me with the last two slices which I didn’t mind lool

Later when Chidera came, she ordered chicken wings with potato wedges. It was really tasty but not worth it in my opinion. The wings come with no sides and cost N3,000. And for that 3k, you get six small chicken wings which I thought was an honest ripoff.

Would I recommend you go to The Harvest – YES/NO. YES because they play trap music and there are free tequila shots (on Thursdays) which will surely get you in the weekend mood. NO because of the price of those chicken wings. I take it very personally when chicken wings are expensive for no reason. If you go, get the pizza or the burger/sandwich.

Check out my other Adventures in Lagos posts HERE. I go to places, take photos and share my feelings about the space. Sort of like a mini review of the place/event I attended.
