Atican Beach

Over the weekend, I went to Atican Beach with my boyfriend. I hadn’t been to https://www.acheterviagrafr24.com/achat-viagra-cialis-levitra/ the beach in a long time (the last time I went was March 2016). I packed us a picnic of burgers, chicken, lamb and a couple of beers and off we went!

Atican Beach (located after Ajah and down the Abraham Adesanya road) is my favorite beach in Lagos just cos. I like how I can get super close to the water and just embrace the waves as they tickle my feet. I’m a water baby even tho I’m a fire sign (Sagittarius FTW) so coming to the beach is therapeutic for me. It gives me a sense of peace and belonging and it makes me think of how big and beautiful the world is. When you look at the water and realize humans haven’t explored over 70% of the ocean, it just makes you think of all the wonderful things out there that we haven’t explored. The traveller in me loves coming to the beach because it takes me away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos.  I’ve been going through a lot in my personal life and everything seems to be finally falling into place so coming to the beach was kinda like the cherry on top of an sundae I’ve been building for a while.

You don’t have to pack food like we did (I like to cook so I made everything we ate there) as you can get food at the beach. There’s fish, suya, chicken, sharwama and all that great stuff available for you to buy. There is also a hotel in case you don’t want to leave that day and the rates are okay (cheapest room is N12,000 and the most expensive room was like N25,000).

Would I advice you to go there? Yup! If you’re looking for some time away from Lagos, the beach is a wonderful place to go and relax. Fair warning, you have to ‘rent’ chairs, tables and a room/chalet on the beach. It’s not that expensive but just something to note and prepare for when you are going there.

Do you like going to the beach? What’s your favorite beach in Lagos? Let me know in the comment section below!

BTW … do you like these types of posts? As I said in a previous post, I want to share more of my life outside of fashion and beauty. If you do like these kinds of posts, let me know in the comment section below!

I always enjoyed our visits to Atican Beach as they weren’t as crowded as some of the other beaches.

And I really like your cover-up.
