The past few weeks have been a struggle. A deep one. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, read my diary post from last week.

Whenever times get tough, I turn to music and I have been listening to a lot of new and old stuff. My brother teases me all the time that I listen to a lot of old music (he’s talking stuff that came out in 2013/2014). In my defence, I listen to music that fits the mood of my current situation whether it came out in 2017 or 2011.

Here’s a list of some songs I’ve been jamming to. Some are old, some are new but in my humble opinion, they are all awesome.

1. Magic by BOJ

The first track of BOJ’s album ‘Magic’, is literally perfect. It sets the perfect tone for the chill album and

2. Dead Body by Chet Faker

There is a way this song makes me feel – I can’t explain it. I just love this song. It’s one of my favorite songs on his album.

3. OLLA ft Twenty88 by Jhene Aiko

This song has such a fun beat that makes me want to dance around.

4. Decibels by Jidenna

This song literally came out this week and I’ve listened to it so many times because it is such a jam and a half.

5. What Lovers Do ft SZA by Maroon 5

I’m not really a fan of the pop heavy direction that Maroon 5 is going in but it works so well on this fun and upbeat song with SZA. My snapchat fam knows how much I love this song. BTW, you should follow me on Snapchat – d3ola

6. Lemon ft Rihanna by N.E.R.D

So many people don’t like this song but I LOVE IT! Rihanna sounds amazing on this song and the beat is sick. This song is always on repeat in my car.

7. Love & War ft Yade Lauren by Yellowclaw

Yellowclaw are a pair of EDM Dj’s that I started listening to recently. They have amazing songs and this one is one of my favorites from their album, Los Amsterdam

8. Gucci Gang by Lil Pump

Trap music at it’s finest. Short and straight to the point. Love how hype this song gets me.
