Good day everyone! Hope we are all having a great day. It’s Wednesday which means the weekend is almost here. I can’t wait to relax and just chill. It’s been a difficult few weeks but things are looking up!

Last week, I was invited to the Jumia Champnge Dinner where they unveiled their new fashion video, proving themselves to be fashion forward in stock and retail.

In the goodie bags we got (which were awesome), I got a Luna Mini, a T-Sonic Facial cleansing device. I’m very skeptical about such things and I’m scared of over-exfoliating but I decided to give it a try and share my thoughts with you. Below is my review with plenty pictures!

The Luna Mini is small and very handy. At the bottom, there is a LED light that lights up when you charge and use it. Unlike other versions that have 8 speeds, the mini has only two speeds which I didn’t mind. There is a button right below the cleansing modules that controls the speeds.

In the box, you will find the charging cord which works via USB and the instruction manual. Before you use, you have to charge it and you are guaranteed at least 300 uses before you charge again which is good. You are also advised not to use grainy/clay based cleansers. That means nothing with exfoliating beads or clay masks.

I rinsed my face before I used the Luna. My cleanser of choice was Ole Henriksen’s African Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser. It smells like heaven and it very delicate and cleans my skin very well. You can get it from Sephora.

Just three pumps of my cleanser and I started using the Luna on the highest speed. The instruction manual said that to avoid overuse, the Luna will go off after 3 mins but it didn’t go off for me.

It is very easy to use. I just turned it on and worked it in circles over my skin. The cleanser lathered and I felt the modules working over my face. It wasn’t harsh and the speed was alright on my skin.

When I rinsed and felt my skin, it was SOFT. I felt a difference and it was good. My skin didn’t feel stripped or didn’t feel too dry and I loved it.

Conclusion: I will add this to my roster BUT I will only use it once a week because my current routine involves oil cleansing and I don’t want them to clash. My skin is very delicate and can break out at the slightest change. I don’t want to risk that.

If you are looking for something new to help you exfoliate or a new device if your old one doesn’t do it for you anymore. I recommend you check out Foreo’s range of T-Sonic facial cleansing devices. Cleaned my skin well and left it baby soft. I loved it and I’m sure you will as well. You can get it at Jumia online.

Let me know in the comments if you have ever used this device or had similar experiences with such!

Stay fab!
