Welcome to the weekly beauty review! Today, I’ll be talking about the Hegai & Esther Photo Perfect Foundation. I bought this foundation a week a go (with a bunch of other stuff) and been using it since I got it. I wanted to use it multiple times to test it out before I gave my final thoughts about the product.
The Hegai & Esther Photo Perfect Foundation came out last year and comes in 8 different shades. I bought the shade ‘Cookie’ and warning, this shade is light but not too light for me. The shade which would have worked for me, Bronze, was sold out. I thought I would have to set this with a dark powder to make it work but guess what, it oxidizes! Sometimes, oxidizing doesn’t work well for some people that buy their exact shade but it works for me as a foundation that starts off light ends up being the perfect shade.
This pump was difficult to work with at first but after a few pumps, it stopped being stiff and product started coming out. I had pump a lot of times to make it work
Here’s the Hegai & Esther Photo Perfect foundation applied to my skin. I mentioned earlier that the foundation is light for me but as I also said, the foundation oxidizes and it becomes darker to suit my skin. Also, this foundation makes me glow. After wearing this foundation for a couple of hours, my boyfriend was like ‘you’re glowing, I like this foundation’. The glow was a subtle one not a ‘oily skin’ glow which I was happy with. This foundation has medium – full coverage and it covers up scars and spots very very well. It also smells really nice and this could be a problem if your skin is sensitive to perfumes.
VERDICT: I love this foundation – it’s smooth, has great coverage and matte! Plus it becomes glowy and I love a nice healthy glow. This foundation is a great price as well – N4,500
WHERE TO BUY: You can reach out to them on Instagram and they will direct you to the closest store that has the shade you are looking for. Let them know OmogeMuRa sent you ^_^
