MAC recently launched its first ever cushion foundation, the Matchmaster Shade Intelligence Compact. The foundation itself is not new as the liquid version of Matchmaster first debuted in 2011.
MAC claims that this:
– provides instant hydration
– controls oil
– instantly blurs lines and wrinkles
– instantly reduces appearance of pores
– long-wearing, eight hours
– provides stay-true colour
– non-caking, non-streaking and non-settling
– sweat- and humidity-resistant
I have tried out the Lancome Cushion Compact Foundation and loved it because it was hydrating and very light on the skin. The MAC compact is matte and this makes it a perfect addition to my makeup kit
What I really love about this foundation is how true-to-skin it is. This foundation was light and felt like my own skin. The fact that it sets matte makes me happy because I have combination skin and dealing with foundations that slip around is not fun.
The cushion is easy to use and the product come out well. I love how pigmented the formulation is. It gives a good medium – full coverage and it very buildable.
I love the MAC Shade Intelligence Compact. I was worried that it wouldn’t be good but I was pleasantly surprised about it.
Here is a look I created with it on Instagram (follow me for more looks like this)
